I am Aiden Gandhi. I am a mechanical engineering student. I have been trading for two years and building trading systems for a little over one. That is the whole résumé, and I would rather you read it here than guess.
A lot of that time went into research: reading what is actually known about why backtests overstate, what separates a strategy that keeps working from one that only ever worked on its own history, and where the barriers really are for someone trying to find an edge that survives real money. Backtest overfitting is one of the largest of those barriers, and the published work on it is the best map of it I found. OverfitCheck is that work, applied to a trade export, without asking you to read the papers first.
The strategies on this site are mine
The case studies on the blog come from my own research program: the broker clock that mis-anchored half of ten years of trades, the eleven improvements of which ten made the strategy worse, and the bad years that were mostly a toll. The calibration set is strategies whose true quality I already knew, including ones I killed. I publish the failures because they are the useful part, and because a site that tells you your backtest is probably overfit should be able to show you its own. None of it is a track record; every figure in those posts is simulated or backtested performance, and the footer says what that means.
What this site will not do
It takes no affiliate or referral money from any prop firm, broker, or EA vendor. It does not verify anyone's track record for a fee. It does not tell you a strategy will make money; it tells you whether the evidence in your file holds up once the number of things you tried is taken back out, and it says so in plain English on every result. The limits of what a trade list can show are written down on the tests page, not hidden.
